Do you use my water, or do you bring your own?

Do exterior cleaners use my water?

Yes. For nearly all exterior cleaning jobs in Salem and the Willamette Valley — pressure washing, house washing, roof cleaning, driveway cleaning, gutter flushing, moss removal — we connect to your home's existing exterior spigot and use your water. It's the industry standard across Oregon and most of the country.

Why customer-supplied water is the default

Bringing in tanker water adds equipment, fuel, and labor cost that gets passed back to you. Connecting to your spigot keeps the service affordable and lets us focus the price on the work itself rather than logistics.

It's also faster. Setup is a hose connection rather than a tank-truck arrangement.

What it costs you on your water bill

Most residential customers see a small bump on the next billing cycle — typically $25–$30 for an average single-service appointment. Specifics depend on:

  • Job duration — house washing runs longer than a driveway rinse.
  • Equipment used — soft-wash systems use less water than high-pressure surface cleaners.
  • Your local water rates — Salem, Albany, and surrounding communities each have slightly different per-gallon pricing.

Larger jobs cost more in water. A full house wash, an extensive driveway-and-walkway combination, or a multi-service appointment booked across the same day can run noticeably higher — sometimes $50+ depending on duration.

When we'll bring our own water

We can provide our own water if:

  • Your home doesn't have a working exterior spigot or sufficient flow.
  • You're on a well system and prefer to limit pump cycles.
  • You'd simply rather we handle the water end-to-end.

Let us know during booking and we'll work out the arrangement. Tanker-supplied water adds a setup fee depending on job size and water volume.

What you can do beforehand

If we're using your water:

  • Confirm your exterior spigot is working and accessible.
  • Check that your hose bib valve fully opens.
  • If you've recently had plumbing work, run the spigot for 30 seconds to clear any debris before our crew arrives.
